My family and I were out at The Old Warsaw Restaurant when I noticed how sick Davis looked. Davis is normally a bright and happy little eight year old so seeing him pale staring down his drink was disturbing. He didn’t look alright. We hadn’t even gotten our food yet. I asked him if everything was alright and he just shook his head no. clearly things weren’t alright which is why we left in such a rush.

I took Davis down to Parkland Hospital’s emergency room right away. On the ride over he looked like he was ready to pass out. I left my husband with our daughter Janie. When we got to the hospital they took him right away. The doctor could tell there was something drastically wrong with him so they CAT scanned him. He had to get his appendix removed.

My insurance refused to pay. they said since I was the one who authorized the operation, I was held accountable for the payment. This was ridiculous but what could I do. I have bad credit so I had to find a way to pay the bills. I looked up car title loans online and found some in Dallas, Texas. It was easy to apply for the loan and I got a callback right away. I didn’t have to worry about Davis’ follow up visit.

Davis is doing fine now. He’s back to normal and we are going to The Old Warsaw restaurant again very soon.
