Dallas Car Title Loans made new job possible

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008

My son would ride with me to our jobs in Hutchins from our house in Mesquite. We basically had the same schedule so that worked pretty well for about four years.  But that lasted until November of 07 when his company shut down.

We keep up all the mortgage payments and by food and utilities together.  So in the time he was out of a job, we both got stuck with bad credit and depleted our savings.  Neither one of us has a credit card at this point.  It was a relief when he got that new job in Garland.

Of course that made for a new problem.  He would have to get a second car. With poor credit, it seemed like no one would loan us the money.

The solution was to use the Chrysler Sebring as collateral for down payment money. It was a 2004 Sebring and I finished the payments in three years, so I owned it clear.  I searched on the Internet for “emergency fast cash” and up popped Dallas Car Title Loans.  That car is good for at least a $3000 loan, a healthy down payment on Joshua’s new (2002) Toyota Highlander.  At his new payscale, he can afford the payments.

The online application was just like something on paper. This is not like at a store somewhere on Gus Thomasson Road where you stand in line and deal with someone through thick glass. The cash was sent by computer into our checking account the next day. Josh had his SUV in about two days — just before he started his new job.  Loans on car title were the only way he could work that new job.

Dallas Car Title Loans my secret career tool

Friday, October 24th, 2008

I never thought of my car as a bank.  But with the financial crisis, anything can happen.

My problem began with working for an equity position at my first job.  Sounded good in light of companies like Google, but to be honest our business concept was a turkey.  We went belly up at the end of 2007.  My stock was worthless, I was poor trying to pay off school loans, I had bad credit – I was a poster child for Economics v. 2008.   So when a business school friend called in July to offer me a some contract work on site with his company in Portland, I said yes, yes absolutely, yes immediately.  Yes!

But I had neither the cash nor the credit card balance to cover costs of the trip.  My 8 year old Passat really was not up for a cross-country drive.  It needed about $2800 in repairs. Of course I didn’t mention this to my friend.  I was embarrassed.

My solution was to think and act creatively.  I went online and searched for the words like “money in emergency”, “sugar daddy loans,” “fast cash” and “no credit check.” Bingo, that’s when I found Dallas Car Title Loans.  My Passat qualified for collateral on a $4000 loan.  I knew then I could book the $480 flight. I borrowed $1800 to cover that and my time in Portland, where they put me up in the company condo.

Dallas Car Title Loans is nothing like places you see on Harry Hines Boulevard or Jupiter Road.  You complete an online application, and are approved in about 30 minutes. The money is electronically transmitted to your checking account. In three days, I was in southern California and working again.

Now, if only they would collateralize my shoes.  My Ferragamos have to be collectively worth a few thousand at least :).

A car title loan in this credit crisis might is the new bank.  It’s like everything else in business, you use all your assets where and when you can.

Dallas Car Title Loans an ounce of prevention

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

Everyone in my family is supposed to get a colonoscopy every three years because we have it in our genes.  Father, grandmother and aunt all died of it.  My brother caught it at stage 3, has been sick for five years now, and they had to declare bankruptcy because of all the medical bills.

When I worked for the phone company, that was no problem.  I had health insurance, and my co-pay on the procedure was $250.  But since the layoff in ‘05 I’ve been doing consulting work with no insurance.  I was due last year already for my colonoscopy but couldn’t afford to pay for it myself. They cost about $2400.

Since the layoff, I’ve not made even half as much in my old job, so I got behind on some payments and got bad credit.  I’ve even had trouble making rent a few months and considered moving away from Plano.  So $2400 looks impossible.

But I went online and found Dallas Car Title Loans.  I found out my Chevy Impala is good for a $2500 loan — just enough for the colonoscopy.  It’s all done online — and online application, they send you an email saying you’re approved that day, and the money is sent electronically to your checking account.  That’s fast cash.

I had the scope done and I don’t have cancer.  What I do have now is peace of mind, and that can go a long way when you’re job hunting and trying just to make ends meet.  I highly recommend betting an online car title loan if you’re in this situation.

A good chill from Dallas Car Title Loans

A bad economy is an opportunity for people who think on their feet.  I’m one of those guys.

I was thinking about getting a new refrigerator for two years.  I had read that old refrigerators use more electricity, so getting a new one can translate into money saved.  But the truth is I have bad credit because I missed paying some bills, so I either had to save the money to make the purchase or, I dunno, wait for one to fall off a truck.

Well, in a bad economy the Internet is that truck, so to speak.  You can go on to Craigslist and find all kinds of things for sale, like appliances from all the unsold houses in the suburbs.  So I found this developer in Plano who was selling $1200 stainless steel refrigerators at half price.  I don’t even have a spare $600, but I do own my car outright.  That’s when I got the idea to go to Dallas Car Title Loans.

Sure enough, the value of my car could get me up to $5000 in a loan.  All I needed was the $600. I filled out the online application and in about 20 minutes, presto!, I knew I was getting the money.

It’s turned into a money saver.  In the first month my electricity costs went down by 20%.

This is definitely a time to keep an eye on expenses.  Buying that refrigerator was a way to do it, and I’m glad my car qualified for a automobile title loan that made it happen.

Dallas Car Title Loans saved my daughter’s health

Monday, October 20th, 2008

When I adopted two children from Nicaragua as a single mother, I knew it would be both challenging and rewarding to be a mother.  But I have a solid career and make a good, middle class income.  That’s why what I did was as much a surprise to me and my friends and family.

My shocking act?  I borrowed money by using my car title as collateral.  And under similar circumstances in the future, I would do it again.

It began when my daughter was in a car accident.  She required hospitalization at Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, four operations, several months of physical therapy and to manage pain and infection, a cocktail of medications. She just celebrated her fourth birthday last week.

We have health insurance coverage at my job.  It’s with a name company.  It’s a program I’ve paid into for more than five years. Our premiums have gone up a lot in the past five years, and employees now pay a greater percentage of those premiums. My own monthly premium costs rose by $300 in the last three years.

But it wasn’t enough.  I had to argue with the insurance company for several things, including some costs related to the emergency room.  We had to halt physical therapy for eight weeks because it wasn’t covered.  My out-of-pocket costs came in at $3000. I had to hire a specialized babysitter so I could continue working, which cost even more money. I couldn’t pay my bills, so ended up with bad credit.  I couldn’t get a bank loan, or an extension from my credit card companies or my mortgage bank.

But I own my car, and decided to investigate car title loans. It became a way to buy time and work out a plan – and get fast cash for more physical therapy for my daughter.  She is truly walking better because of that car title loan, and probably will walk better later in life because of it.

Dallas Car Title Loans was the company I went to.   It’s all online, where you spend about 15 minutes on the online application. The money is in your checking account in one day. For anyone else in this situation, get fast auto title loans for whatever you need to do to take care of your family.

Truck saved me with Dallas Car Title Loans

Friday, October 17th, 2008

I bought a Chevy pickup because everyone in my family is always asking me to move things.  Just because I was a tackle at Texas A&M twenty years ago this seems to be a foregone conclusion.  A chest of drawers here, a refrigerator there earned me a position of honor in my wife’s family, so that made it worthwhile.

But bad things happen to good people, they say.  First it was some hospital charges (BIG ones) that our insurance didn’t cover – which gradually threw us into a poor credit rating. Next it was my job in Plano – phased out due to offshore outsourcing.  Then came bad weather throughout the south – tornadoes, hurricanes and floods, starting in February and still happening.

But the natural disasters actually turned into an opportunity for me (I say this with apologies to the people directly affected).  Just about a two months after I became unemployed, I heard about work I could get in areas going through storm rescue and recovery.  They need pickup trucks to haul working appliances and salvageable furniture to storage, work that doesn’t make sense for bigger trucks.  That’s work I can do, and I had a buddy who had a business doing that.

The problem is the work pays well, but there’s a lag time until you get paid.  You’re waiting on insurance claims, and then getting paid by your boss who is a subcontractor himself.  So sometimes you work up to ten weeks before you see the money.  In the end it’s good work and worth the time and travel.   But with my bad credit and bills piling up, I worried how we’d get by (my wife doesn’t work).

I found my own rescue through Dallas Car Title Loans.  They have an online application form that takes about 20 minutes to complete.  With a truck title loan company, there is no credit check.  So it’s fast — fast enough to cover my financial responsibilities at home while I’m working hundreds of miles away.

My car earned me cash at Dallas Car Title Loans

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

Despite high gas prices, anyone who lives in the Dallas area knows a woman’s car is her lifeline for managing a job and a family.  I live nearby in Grand Prairie, and worked for the same company for six years just a few miles from my house. I always loved this car, even with its few problems. It didn’t require a lot of maintenance.  Until.

About six months ago my company shut down (our competition outsourced overseas and beat us). Welcome to the new economy.  I’m good at what I do, but my skill set is specialized, so getting a new job down here wasn’t likely.  But I found a new job in about four months.  The trouble was is it is in Garland – about a 28 or 30 mile drive, give or take whether you take 75 north or 30 east (believe me, I listen to the traffic report now).  Adding a commute to my day caused its own problems, especially with the kids.  But this hit right when my car needed about $2000 in repair work.  Coming off a few months of no income, my credit cards were at their limits – I was a poster child for bad credit, despite years of managing it well.

That’s when I turned to Dallas Car Title Loans. Which made sense: I could use my car’s value to finance the car repairs. It couldn’t have been easier to do, and I didn’t have to go to some storefront operation.  I went to their online application, filled it out in 20 minutes. By the next morning I had the fast cash to pay for the repairs.  By working with auto money title loans, I was able to get working again.  A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do to keep life perking along.
